Project: Drugs, Please

The third ICT project of our studies started this spring and we were assigned by our customer to plan and implement a game, which combines entertainment and education. We were given some framework of what the game is about and what elements it should have, but the customer didn’t want to tie our hands too much with specific requirements. This way the project maintains more freedom for artistic creativity.

Our project workforce is divided into two groups. Both groups have two persons for management purposes and three developers, which are responsible for the code, graphics and audio of the game. This way we can divide the workload and be more efficient. Both groups work together for a common goal using the RUP development process.

The time frame for this project is two months, so we don’t have enough time to make a full game from scratch. Thus, the goal of this project is to prove or disprove that this concept works. If the game is proven to be a valuable idea, our customer has a good foundation and can develop it further.
