Security for the future by studying

Apprenticeship-type continuing professional education is a new kind of training form. It is shaped and realized according to the needs of working life. The studies consist of learning at work, formal training and demonstrations.

The aim of apprenticeship training is to reinforce the expertise of academically educated people already in working life. In this education, learning at work is in the central position. The students are employed normally during the education and the employer is in charge of the learning at work. UAS is in charge of all aspects of theoretical instruction and the level and quality of the education.

The aim of apprenticeship training is to combine further professional education, working, and development at work.

Apprenticeship-type education cannot be part of a degree nor lead to a degree. If a non-academic person is employed in a post for which an academic degree is usually required, he or she can attend this education.
