Search­ing for new ways to contribute the humankind and society

Hello, I am Yasir from Turkey. I studied in the science high school before my univer­sity studies. We were really into math, physics, chem­istry, biology, and I am still good at those topics. I was granted to a dentistry school in Turkey and started imme­di­ately after my high school grad­u­a­tion, but I had no time for think­ing about my actual career and profes­sional life. I focused only on my classes, and even­tu­ally I decided to contribute to humankind more than being a dentist. 

I moved to Finland in 2019 and started plan­ning for my future, contem­plat­ing what I should do, and what is inter­est­ing for me. I discov­ered the bachelor’s degree in Indus­trial Manage­ment, then applied and was accepted to become an extra­or­di­nary engineer. 

We are devel­op­ing skills in many areas such as sales, product and service life cycle manage­ment, and team and project lead­er­ship also; we are improv­ing our exper­tise in automa­tion, Lean, robot­ics, quality, data analy­sis. The curricu­lum was kind of scary in the begin­ning because of these subjects. However, our teach­ers are student-friendly and give us the best tuition. It was a big chance for me to get used to the new country and the new educa­tion system. 

My study programme is a combi­na­tion of inter­na­tional busi­ness and engi­neer­ing. The degree of indus­trial manage­ment provides quality educa­tion with inter­na­tional students and teach­ers.  During the study process I have gained new perspec­tives of life and started to search for new ways to contribute to humankind and society. I recom­mend Indus­trial Manage­ment of Karelia UAS for persons who share aims like mine.
