Quality manage­ment at Karelia UAS – Quality with cooperation

The aim of the quality manage­ment at Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences is to secure that the UAS oper­ates effec­tively, func­tion­ally and consis­tently with its strat­egy, and that its oper­a­tions are constantly devel­oped. Devel­op­ment work is displayed in all processes and parts of the organ­i­sa­tion and in everyone’s own work. Quality assur­ance system follows the prin­ci­ples of the PDCA contin­u­ous devel­op­ment cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act). The start­ing point is a contin­u­ous cycle of plan­ning, doing, assess­ing and devel­op­ing, which aims at contin­u­ous learn­ing and devel­op­ment of the organization.

The elements of the quality assur­ance have been inte­grated into the manage­ment of oper­a­tions and the intranet solu­tion of the UAS (Karelia UAS-intra).
