Future Talents partnership programme

Karelia UAS’s Future Talents -partnership programme has been set up to intensify co-operation between the English-taught programmes and the area’s employers. It increases the employment networks of international students and gives opportunities to complete internships in North Karelia. The programme also promotes internationalisation of employers in the region.

Participation in the programme is free of charge for partnership organisations. Employers who already have international staff members are welcome to join the programme. On the other hand, this programme is a great opportunity to take the first step towards internationalisation. It is a great opportunity to internationalize the organization and the work community by getting new kinds of competencies (f.e. cultural & language competenses). You can do this by offering internships for students from our English-taught programmes ‘International Business’ and ‘Industrial Management’.

The Industrial Management studies (Bachelor of Engineering) combine technology, business and management skills. The four-year degree provides strong expertise in intelligent production (automation, Lean, Robotics, Quality, Data Analysis), sales, product and service life cycle management, and in team and project leadership. Learn more about the programme: https://www.karelia.fi/en/industrial-management/.

The International Business studies provide a comprehensive picture of international business. The students will get qualification to tasks in international marketing and business, especially in international marketing and customer competence. The international BBA degree also includes studies in communication, finance, sales and management. Learn more about the programme: https://www.karelia.fi/en/international-business/.

The Information and Communication Technology programme includes studies supporting machine learning, software robotics, data analytics, the Internet of Things, lean thinking, project management and entrepreneurship. The students are trained for international work duties. The students can specialize in intelligent automation or software production in their studies.
