Accessibility plan

Accessibility is a central value for us at Karelia University of Applied Sciences, intertwined with the principles of equality and providing equal opportunities. Karelia’s communication is accessible and supportive of diversity and equality.

We strive to enhance accessibility and promote inclusivity for all members of our community and stakeholders. Our goal is to design and implement services that are usable by everyone. Therefore, we emphasize the importance of accessibility in all our activities, including the orientation of new employees.

The Vice President is responsible for the overall implementation of the plan. The persons in charge of each area are responsible for implementing the plan within their respective areas. Every Karelia employee takes the plan’s objectives into account in their own work. The implementation of the plan is assessed annually as part of the management review.
