Karelia UAS‘ ICT & AI learning and develpoment environment offers students, companies and other stakeholders the opportunity to research, build and test modern ICT solutions. The environment combines practical work, new technologies, and the needs of education, research and business cooperation.
The infrastructure of the environment covers e.g. cloud services, server and network environments, information security solutions, application development platforms, and services that utilise artificial intelligence and automation solutions. There is both a physical data center and virtual environments where new technologies can be tested and business processes can be simulated (Cisco UCS and Nutanix).
The inrastructure is in a developing phase. In the near future, the environment will be supplemented with a secure, closed local AI development environment.
