SFS database has been updated, and it has now a new user interface. You can read SFS standards when you go to Karelia-Finna, and search SFS database (longer version of the name is SFS Store).
Click Database Interface link and login with Haka Login (use your Karelia ID, for example student number + your password). Then click your name and My products title to see the standards we have purchased. Next, a page will open for you where you can search for standards, for example, with a standards’ number.
Tips:
- When logging in with Haka, you can tick the box next to “Clear prior granting of permission…” so that your old information is replaced with the updated information. Be sure to confirm your selection by clicking the “Confirm” (“vahvista”) button.
- You do not need to do this every time, usually it needs to be done once or when your password has changed.
- Sometimes it is useful to clear your browser’s history, cookies, etc. and then try again.
- Old stored links to the database will no longer work, as the address of the database has changed.
Students of universities of applied sciences with HAKA authentication are allowed remote access to the licensed material. Read more about the restriction on use from this FinELib site.
