The library is closed during the holi­days, 22.12.2023 – 7.1.2024.

Library’s Christ­mas checklist:

  • When you borrow printed mate­ri­als from the library now, the due date will be 10.1.2024.
  • Remem­ber to renew or return borrowed library mate­ri­als by the due date to avoid overdue fees. 
    • Renew­ing your loans will give you longer due dates over the closing period: 
      • Also, course books get the longer loan period start­ing from Friday 8.12., so remem­ber to renew your loans!
      • The first due date after the closing period is Wednes­day 10.1.2024.
    • If you are not able to renew (or just want to return your loans), you can return your loans by using the auto­mated book return machine outside the library. It is open even when the library is closed.
  • When the library is closed, e-resources (ebooks and data­bases) are avail­able on Karelia-Finna.
  • Please remem­ber that you can also use the Joensuu area’s other libraries: Vaara libraries and UEF’s Joensuu campus library.
