At Karelia UAS I have had chances to gain a lot of new experience. In addition to group work, I also practiced in real projects in cooperation with local companies. The teachers and staff are helpful whenever I need advice.
I am in my third year of studies towards a bachelor’s in International Business at Karelia University of Applied Sciences. I can’t tell any particular reason why I chose Finland and Karelia UAS as my destination. However, after 2 years of studying here, I think it was my best choice!
At Karelia UAS I have had chances to gain a lot of new experience. I also can express my thoughts and ideas without rejection of any kind. Due to the pandemic, I spent 1,5 years studying online which I thought would cause many challenges for me. Anyways, everything went smoothly even though I could not go to the campus. The curriculum was flexible enough to suit the situation.
In addition to group work, I have also practiced in real projects in cooperation with local companies. The teachers and staff are helpful whenever I need advice. Also, I was surprised by the friendliness and kindness of the people in Joensuu. I have never been turned down when asking for help in times of trouble on the road, at school, on the bus, where-ever.
I am grateful for the wonderful experiences I have gained during my studies at Karelia UAS. Ihave been able to develop my professional skills and step out of my comfort zone. I highly recommend Karelia UAS to all students who wish to experience a high-quality international education.
