Degree Programme in Industrial Management

I would recommend the Degree Programme in Industrial Management to those who find satisfaction in being efficient, effective, and productive. It is also a good study path for people who, like me, would like to make our existing systems more environment-friendly while at the same time, economically viable.

Industrial Management is a new degree programme at Karelia UAS. That is being developed alongside companies to produce job-ready industrial management engineers. Since I aim to be employed in Finland someday, I was easily attracted to apply to this particular programme. I have chosen Karelia UAS as my university also because of its scholarship programme.

I am one of the first students of Degree Programme in Industrial Management. Due to the pandemic, all lectures were conducted online during our first year of studies. Currently, we have contact lessons and finally got to meet everyone in person. I’m happy to meet such a group with different backgrounds and unique personalities and look forward to working with them. I am also excited to learn from our teachers, who are also very interesting and knowledgeable in their fields of expertise.

As an international student, I find that Karelia UAS has been the perfect choice for me as it is one of the few Finnish schools offering this degree in English and at a reasonable price without sacrificing the quality of education.
