Eligi­bil­ity

Joint programmes are designed for inter­na­tional students who would like to gain degrees from both their local univer­sity and Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences (Double Degree programmes) or from Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences (Artic­u­la­tion programmes). Joint programmes are offered at Bach­e­lor levels in Inter­na­tional Busi­ness, Indus­trial Manage­ment, Infor­ma­tion and Commu­ni­ca­tion Tech­nol­ogy, Energy and Envi­ron­men­tal Engineering.

To attend the Joint programmes at Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences, students should make sure that their home univer­sity has signed Joint programme agree­ments with Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences.

Students apply­ing for Joint programs, as recom­mended by Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences partner univer­si­ties, shall submit their appli­ca­tions to Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences. Appli­ca­tion time is March yearly for Fall entrance, accom­pa­nied by the docu­ments listed below.

1. An appli­ca­tion of admis­sion in English

2. A photo­copy of passport

3. Offi­cial Tran­scripts (with English trans­la­tion) of courses from all univer­sity years, with offi­cial stamps (Students must receive the minimum pass grade from all their courses in rela­tion to their own univer­sity grading system);

4. English language requirements

Admis­sion criteria

Students, who are recom­mended by their univer­sity (Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences partner univer­sity), and meet with Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences admis­sion require­ments, shall be granted admis­sion for the program.

Degree in Infor­ma­tion and Commu­ni­ca­tion Tech­nol­ogy (ICT) provides you with a wide knowhow for working on the ICT field in Finland.

Inter­na­tional Business

The Degree Programme in Inter­na­tional Busi­ness enables you to develop exper­tise required in global busi­ness. The main focus of the studies is on inter­na­tional market­ing as a part of success­ful business. 

Energy and Envi­ron­men­tal Engineering

Energy and Envi­ron­men­tal Engi­neer­ing courses are INVEST Special­iza­tion Studies at Karelia Univer­sity of Applied Sciences. Struc­ture of studies consists of 30 ECTS in Autumn semes­ter and 30 ECTS onsite in Spring semester.
