Call for INVEST Student Board

Are you eager to gain inter­na­tio­nal expe­rience? Inte­res­ted in crea­ting brand new study oppor­tu­ni­ties?
Come and join us in the INVEST Univer­sity Alliance to shape the future toget­her. INVEST consists of seven Euro­pean univer­si­ties commit­ted to addres­sing sustai­na­bi­lity chal­len­ges of our time. We provide oppor­tu­ni­ties for all our students to enrich their curricu­lum with INVEST studies.

We are looking for three Karelia UAS degree students to join INVEST Student Board for at least one acade­mic year. Your tasks would include active partici­pa­tion in meetings and works­hops (virtual meetings, as well as physical meetings in INVEST partner regions), deve­lop­ment of the first INVEST Student Board, promo­ting INVEST to your peers, and possible other tasks deter­mi­ned toget­her with your INVEST coor­di­na­tor – such as acting as INVEST Student Ambas­sa­dor, or INVEST Buddy.

We offer you possi­bi­li­ties for inter­na­tio­nal networ­king, gaining insights in inter­na­tio­nal higher educa­tion, upgra­ding project mana­ge­ment and commu­nica­tion skills, as well as INVEST study possi­bi­li­ties.

At Karelia, INVEST will cover all the travel expen­ses for physical meetings, inclu­ding travel tickets and accom­mo­da­tion. The selec­ted INVEST Student Board members will have the oppor­tu­nity to gain 1-5 ECTS for their cont­ri­bu­tion.

We will select the INVEST Student Board members toget­her with POKA, based on the applica­tion docu­ments and possible inter­views with selec­ted applicants. All the student repre­sen­ta­ti­ves should have sufficient English language skills to be able to work in an inter­na­tio­nal envi­ron­ment.
